In today’s world we often have trouble giving praise to someone even if it’s deserved praise.
Even as Christians we mimic what is around us in our secular culture and praise isn’t heard from our lips as often as it should be.
Taking this one step further – praise we give to people but worship is reserved for God and God alone.
It’s little wonder so many struggle with worship when praise is foreign and something unnatural.
My thought is if we become more natural and practiced at giving praise, so that maybe – just maybe when it comes to worshiping God it might comeĀ a little more easily to us.
I love this definition of worship -
Worship - Human response to the perceived presence of the divine, a presence which transcends normal human activity and is holy
